Classroom Expectations:
Respect to all peers, teachers & staff all the time. I have a zero tolerance bulling policy in my classroom. No personal cross conversations during lecture time. My time is valuable and students will have time before class and after class to update one another on their personal statuses.
Be prepared! I will call on students to engage them to participate in the lecture, so students are expected to come to class prepared with their note book, assignments, pencil, pens, etc. All homework assigned will be collected before class starts. If you do not have your homework done and you don’t have an excused absence---it will be a zero.
Seating: Students are allowed to sit where they choose unless a problem with talking, singing, or goofing off occurs. Then students will be assigned a seating chart.
Cell phones: Cell phones may be brought to class and only used when specified.
No food or drinks other than water will be allowed. Water must be in clear bottles. If gum / candy wrappers are found on the floor, then no gum/candy will be allowed.
First Offense: Warning and follow up phone call to your parent/guardian.
Second Offense: Detention served with me after school. You will be cleaning classrooms, bathrooms, etc.
Third Offense: Meeting with parents & principal
